The Best Tales of woe!

We hear lot's of stories of how carbon frames get damaged and we thought we would share a few of what we think are the best!
  • The Scorned Wife - She attacked her husbands cycle with a wok!
  • Driving into the garage and forgetting that the Cycle is on top of the car!
  • Young son - jumped on the top tube of a brand new frame that was not even built yet!!
  • Neglected girlfriend - she thought her boyfriend loved his bike more than her so she took a hammer and smashed up his bike!
  • The gate jumper - Guy jumps over the gate to have a wee, jumps back over and judged it sooooooo wrong - landed on his frame!
  • Traffic lights - stopped at the lights and put his foot down......his cleats slipped on the floor until he was doing the splits and broke his top tube!
If you have any tales of woe, feel free to drop us a line and share with us! click on the link below to share by either Twiiter, Facebook or our website.

Repair or Replace?

Safety is our number One Priority !

BMC Carbon repair ONLY

This frame looked beyond repair and most insurance companies would replace this frame!

Here at Carbon Bike Technics Ltd we managed to safely repair this frame and it is as strong if not stronger than it was before.

The customer on this occasion was not bothered about cosmetics and was happy to be able to ride it again so this frame was not painted.
Would you.........OR have you..........Replaced this kind of damage with a new frame thinking it is beyond safe use !?!

We can help you to save money !!!!!
Give us a call or drop us an email before you make the decision to replace any Carbon frames that have been involved in an accident or received damage of any kind.

Safety is always our priority and we will not repair anything that is not safe to do so.

Boardman Repair Only

Check out the repair to the top tube on this Boardman.

We cater for all budgets and it is not neccassary to have the repair painted, it will not effect/ protect the carbon in any way. We paint purely for cosmetic reasons! and hey!......every scar tells a story!

Another Cube Lives again!!!

This Cube Carbon frame had become un-bonded at the join line on the seat stay!

So We bonded it back together again and wrapped it in carbon. It is now as strong as it was before.......if not even stronger!

The Customer was not bothered about having the repair painted, however it is not very noticeable at all!

What do you think?

Sneaky Peek at our workshops here at Carbon Bike Technics

Here are a few pictures of our workshop, we would love to say it is clean, shiney and glamorous, however, the truth is, it is NOT!!

You could say that we are like a greasy spoon cafe, normally the unkept, scruffy places provide the best food compared to a bright, clinically spotlessly clean cafe, as the staff are far to busy with customers to tidy up and clean. The clean cafe clearly has far too much time on their hands, lack of customers and nothing better to do!

So with this in mind, remember we look after your bike frames better than if they were are own and this is where the magic happens to transform your broken frames into your pride and joy again.

NEVER judge a book by its cover!
