Carbon Bike Technics can cover everyones Budget!

Not everyone's budget covers a repair AND paint option so here is what a typical repair ONLY looks like. I hope you agree that it does not look unsightly,we would like to think of it as a way of talking to new people and making your story of what happened sound as heroic as you like!!! .........we will never reveal your secret.......!!

Safety ALWAYS comes first with Carbon Bike Technics!

Safety ALWAYS comes first!
We COULD have repaired this frame but because the non drive side stay was also damaged as well as the drive side we feel it was NOT safe to repair!
Believe it or not we could have repaired the drive side!!!

Same but Different .............

Same but Different........................
Our customers always ask " can you match the paintwork and make it look the same as it was before?"
Most of the time we can, however on the odd occasion we cannot match a graphic that has intricate detail so we can offer a different solution that is not the same but looks equally as good and in fitting with the current design.

Carbon Bike Technics - Full Bike Policy

CBT - Full Bike Policy

If any full bike is brought in for an inspection and we find it safe for a repair to be carried out we do require the frame to be stripped down for the work to be done.

The options open to every customer are as follows:

Take the bike away to be stripped and bring it back.Pay £80 for a full strip & re-build.Pay £40 for the parts to be stripped but not re-built.
We require the frames to be stripped as we lay them flat to work on them and if any repair is to be painted we need to cover up everything that is not being painted.

It makes our lives a lot easier and we do not have enough room for full bikes either.

Repair or Replace?

RSSTranslate REPAIR OR REPLACE ?!? Safety is our number One Priority !BMC Carbon repair ONLY

This frame looked beyond repair and most insurance companies would replace this frame!

Here at Carbon Bike Technics Ltd we managed to safely repair this frame and it is as strong if not stronger than it was before.

The customer on this occasion was not bothered about cosmetics and was happy to be able to ride it again so this frame was not painted.

Boardman Repair Only

Check out the repair to the top tube on this Boardman.
We cater for all budgets and it is not neccassary to have the repair painted, it will not effect/ protect the carbon in any way. We paint purely for cosmetic reasons! and hey!......every scar tells a story!

Another Cube Lives again!!!

This Cube Carbon frame had become un-bonded at the join line on the seat stay!

So We bonded it back together again and wrapped it in carbon. It is now as strong as it was before.......if not even stronger!

The Customer was not bothered about having the repair painted, however it is not very noticeable at all!

What do you think?

Sneaky Peek at our workshops here at Carbon Bike Technics

Here are a few pictures of our workshop, we would love to say it is clean, shiney and glamorous, however, the truth is, it is NOT!!

You could say that we are like a greasy spoon cafe, normally the unkept, scruffy places provide the best food compared to a bright, clinically spotlessly clean cafe, as the staff are far to busy with customers to tidy up and clean. The clean cafe clearly has far too much time on their hands, lack of customers and nothing better to do!

So with this in mind, remember we look after your bike frames better than if they were are own and this is where the magic happens to transform your broken frames into your pride and joy again.

NEVER judge a book by its cover!

Maintenance Course at Carbon Bike Technics

My name is Julie and I look after the office side of things here at Carbon Bike Technics. I started to get into Cycling the beginning of last year and quickly got the bug, however as a lady rider I have not got a lot of faith in being able to change an inner tube or any maintanence on the roadside. The lads here have taught me everything i need to know but as I have never had to do it on a ride out as yet, it plays in the back of my mind and perhaps prevents me from going to far away from home alone in case I cannot sort it myself. My question many lady riders out there feel like I do? would you be interested in attending a ladies only maintenance course here at Carbon Bike Technics?

Here are few pictures of the inner workings of a carbon bike frame ,this is the bit you never get to see, ,the not so glamorous side.
